Coming by Motorcycle

The best way is to get anywhere is by motorcycle, and the Newcastle International SuperMoto is no different.  There will be motorcycle only parking along Brown Road, in front of the Newcastle Entertainment Centre.  You will also be able to park your motorcycle in Richardson Park across the road from the Showground.

Public Transport

Coming by train

The closest station to the SuperMoto track is Broadmeadow on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line.  Broadmeadow Station is approximately 150metres from the Brown Road entrance to the showground (next to Newcastle Entertainment Centre).

If you’re coming in on the Hunter Line, you’ll have to change at Hamilton for a train which runs a service to Broadmeadow Station.

Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink services will run to regular timetables.  See train timetables and maps at the transportnsw information site. Again, you will need an Opal Card to travel on the train. Opal single trip tickets can be purchased at a number of outlets.

Coming by bus

Depending on where you’re coming from, there are numerous buses that come into the SuperMoto Track at the showground.

The closest stop is at Newcastle Station (where the trains used to go). More details at Newcastle Bus Information and www.transportnsw.info. Your destination is Newcastle Station. You will need an Opal Card to travel on the bus, or you can buy an Opal single trip ticket from the driver.

Public Transport Ticketing

We recommend that you plan ahead and get your Opal card before the event, via the Opal website or an Opal retailer. Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal cards are only available online or by phoning 13 67 25 (OPAL).

To find out more about Opal, or to find a retailer visit the Opal website.
